I’ve always been interested in numbers, both about their use/application as well as their intrinsic theoretical qualities.
I never really cared much about primes until a few years ago when I got obsessed with trying to wrap my head around the fact that there does not appear to be any sort of pattern to their distribution. That a fundamental quality of numbers could be so arbitrary really frustrates me and I have been trying to figure out a way to discover a pattern.
A while ago I heard about the Euler Project and decided to check it out. As a lark, I looked at the problem list and found the first few too easy to not bother implementing, and have since become hooked.
