I am a teacher of programming skills, computer science theory and these days using Python and Pygame for this end. I have a post grad degree in computer science but have not been involved in commercial programming unless you count a small database company I ran as a second job.

My current area of interest is linking GUI systems to SQLite3 programs using Python and developing arcade games in Pygame.

My own interests are in solving problems with Python that arise, computer algorithm implementation, combinatronics and taking the MIT open courseware modules.

I am also addicted to Battlefield 3 at the moment and specialize in the hornet jet for the GFC clan.

The author of this site has written a book and the title of chapter one for me sums up my approach and philosophy:
