I'm a retired engineer living in Nahant, MA. I have degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics (Ph.D., Columbia, 1978), have worked as an electronics technician, a college mathematics professor, and (from 1985 to 2016) a guidance, navigation and control designer with Draper Laboratory. I retired in July of 2016.

I'm an avid motorcyclist -- I took this up at age 58 -- a dog lover, and a former sailboat racer.
