I have problem of parameters estimation LTI system using single period fraction of response signal to quasi-periodic input signal, with known single period shape pattern and period times.
LTI system with few poles and zeros.
System Input Signal
The system is triggered by known quasi-periodic signal, which has same pattern on single period, but periods vary in their length with some mean and STD. Example: physiological signal of ECG heart beats.
Measured Response Data
Response signal segment, that match time single period of input signal.
Estimate LTI model parameters (zeros and poles) using single period response signal.
Because of system memory, measured response signal contains combined response to multiple periods of input signal, so i can't extract neither transfer function or impulse response.
Can some one suggest me known methodology for LTI parameters estimation using single period fraction of response signal to almost-periodic input signal, with known single period shape pattern and period times ?
