I'm starting to study many article about numerical calculus and I see the definition of Halton Points (HP). But in this article sometimes one author use 289 HP, and sometimes another author use 1089 HP and don't explain why. Is there a motivation for this specific numbers of HP? I think yes, but I don't understand. Thank you.

You can find the definition here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halton_sequence
