If there is a (2 x n) game in strategic form, the first thing to check would be to check if the game is degenerate in pure strategies i.e. if any pure strategy of player I or II has two or more (2+) best responses. If yes, the game is degenerate. Please could you explain how finding the pure Nash equilibria changes for degenerate games?

To check if the game is degenerate in mixed strategies, we can draw the upper-enveloped (goalpost) diagram plotting the probability. And if there is any intersection point, where more than 2 lines intersect, the game is degenerate. Please could you explain how to find the mixed strategies Nash equilibria for degenerate games. e.g. for the game in the attached photo, how do we find the Mixed NE and are there general steps for these?

Thank you. enter image description here
