I have created a manifold for a set of discrete (integer) points which lie in 2 dimensions.

The manfiold has dimensions of $N\times N$ and I have a metric which dictates the seperation between the points: $\Delta x(x,y)$ and $\Delta y(x,y)$ which varies throughout the manifold.

The metric is symmetric such that $\Delta x(x,y)=\Delta x(y,x)$ and $\Delta y(x,y)=\Delta y (y,x)$.

How do I visualise this in python for example?
