Try looking at $$\sum_{n=0}^\infty (-1)^n;$$ depending on how one groups the terms, one has $$0$$ or $$1$$:
$$1 + (-1 + 1) + (-1 + 1) \to 1\\ (1 - 1) + (1 -1) \cdots \to 0 .$$
