If $u=f(x,y)$ where $x=e^{2s} \cos(4t)$ and $y=e^{2s}\sin(4t)$, show that $$(\partial u/\partial x)^2+(\partial u/\partial y)^2=g(s,t)(\partial u/\partial s)^2+h(s,t)(\partial u/\partial t)^2$$

Can someone please help me find $\partial u/\partial x$ and $\partial u / \partial y$? Thanks!
