I have read complex numbers recently. While going through my quora feed i found out their actual application that how they can be used to analyze circles, ellipse, parabola and other curves in coordinate geometry reducing calculations by a great amount.I searched for these on the net but couldn't find anything of much help.I request the community to share on the basic curves(circle, staright lines, ellipse ,parabola and hyperbola, sorry for that would be a bit long and painstaking)or direct me to a site where i can find the required information.Any help would greatly be appreciated.

  • $\begingroup$ that is not exactly what i what..i know people who could tell the u anything about the curve just by transforming its cartesian equation into complex one and that too without pen and paper..many of you wud say its practice..maybe..but i feel its practice +tricks $\endgroup$ – chemophilic Aug 13 '18 at 12:55
