The goal of the word math problem is to assign each letter an integer value, 0-9. Only one number per letter

Problem: WORMHOLE/IDIOT=HEM

Example: MAKE+KEYS=PSST
In this example: E=3, K+1, A=4, Y=5, S=7, T=0, M=8, and P=9

    $\begingroup$ I would start by writing IDIOT etc. as $I*10000+D*1000+I*100+O*10+T$ and multiply this by HEM to obtain a set of necessary equations. $\endgroup$ – Nightgap Dec 2 '17 at 0:23

Running this Matlab code, which takes a few minutes:

You realize that there is no solution for the problem.
