You can see in the picture: part of sine + part of square + part of triangle + part of inclinated straightline... and so on. i.e. random/crazy signal.

No. That's a "hypothetical" signal I'd like to get summing up sin.I have nothing, and I need some "random" fourier series that can give to me such a signals.

think of this also in this way: If I just choose blu point every fifth samples Ill lost an important information: the max and min peaks at every slope. I mean: if the curve change the inclination (check the first slope) it will take a blu point that could be inferior to the actual peak. thus, min/max absolute values for the signal will change. I don't want this...

yes you are right. but I don't have that kind of control in what I'm doing. I have some primitives that does this finding min and max peaks (which can help to draw a waveform, for example). This is what I have unfortunately...

I don't need to recostruct blue value. I'm starting from blu, reducing points. Once reduced, I need to draw the simil-signal that would be if I kept blu values. Do you see? It's a sort of "compressing" values...
