@fgp Found it in my calculations where I assumed k not to be 0. But can you elaborate on your last sentence? Seems there is something obvious that I am missing?

Thanks for clarification. I was confused by the WP article Line Integral, where it says "a line integral (sometimes called a ... curve integral". But curve would be the direct translation to what our German professor used (Kurve). But are your saying, that there is nothing to learn for me? Only gain experience working with them?

Well if $\beta(e_i, e_i) = 0$ then $B_{ii} = 0$. And if $\beta(e_i, e_j) = -\beta(e_j, e_i)$ then $B_{ij} = -B_{ji}$. But can I broaden that to all vectors, not only the basis vectors?
