Actually the Last comment is about $\ P(\overline A +B)$ not $\ P(\overline A +\overline B)$. I tried something else to see if I can get it right. So I am asking if $\ P(\overline A +B) = 0.98$

I think I understand it now. So for $\ P(\overline A + B) = 1 - P(A\B) = 1-0.02 = 0.98$

From the image you can see that there are two different color lines outside A and B, that's what makes me think like this.

you are right, this is a test to get merit scholarship and issued by the university, that was the reason I called it "university". I didn't said that the mathematical tasks are for university students
