above you have written $\int_{z_1}^{z_2}\frac{dz}{z}-\int_{z_1}^{z_2}\frac{(1-\phi_m(\zeta))}{z}dz$ and then stated that you substitute z = xL, but you only seem to substitute it for the second half of the equation i.e. not in $\int_{z_1}^{z_2}\frac{dz}{z}$ ?

Also, if z = xL, where does the 1/L come from? and shouldnt the denominator be xL not x/L

Ah yes, the book does state PSI(zeta) as you have shown above, does this alter the equations much?
