comment Choosing 2005 balls from 10000 red, 10000 yellow, and 10000 green balls
I don't have to use generating functions per se. I am self-learning generating functions and recurrences, so trying to solve as many such problems as possible using generating functions. Good answer by the way, thanks.

comment Why is a 3-PDA no more powerful than a 2-PDA?
I am not well-versed with what kind of questions are accepted here, so if this should be migrated to another SE site, please do so. :)

Uhm, couldn't we just add an $ S \rightarrow \epsilon $ rule? Sorry for this basic question, I am new to this and basically self-learning without any expert guidance.

Is there some way to place those comments (i-1) times, etc. more separated from the "equations"? I couldn't figure out any way to do this here.

@Phira I have reframed the question to make it less "opinion based" (I hope).

@Phira I only wanted to know the right method, if there is one, to solve such questions, because I do have to answer an exam. There could be multiple correct solutions is good enough of an answer for me.

@User-33433 No, I don't think so, I worded it that way only to show one counterexample why I believe the authors' interpretation is incorrect. My statement says "given any x, if x is in the world". If the world doesn't consist of anything, then the antecedent of the implication would be false, and the statement would still be true. Note also that I could have posted only my answer and skipped the book answer entirely, in which case, I would have avoided making any reference to the world consisting of things.
