I don't think that looking at the plot is enough to confirm the numerical exactness of the rate of change of the red curve and the rate of change of the blue curve. It might show that they're somewhat correlated, but that they have exact numerical equivalence at every point in time is not something you can get from looking at a plot like that, I think.
