Thanks for the answer, but I am a beginner in linear algebra, and learning it by watching Gilbert strang's lectures, and I am not up to the point of understanding kernels etc. I wanted a just visual clue about infinitely many solutions, because I have that clue in system in 2 variables.

@Joriki Sorry I didn't understand the second and third line of your answer. Actually I am confused about the order in which $\underset{x}{max}\:\underset{y}{min}f(x,y)$ is evaluated. Do we minimize first or maximize ?

@Joriki I understood first line, but in starting of third line, you wrote $\underset{x}{\text{max}}f(x,y) \geq f(\hat{x},\hat{y})$, isn't $\underset{x}{\text{max}}f(x,y)$ same as $f(\hat{x},y)$ ?
