it is so because, Rhombus is a 2 variable figure, as was rectangle, so it wont be constant for every rhombus. As we cant say about the similarity of two rectangles, same as we cant say it about rhombus, until we know the angle

@guy: I am not saying that this number should be unique, but I am saying that a figure must have a constant to define its shape. Two figures can have same constants, but by just knowing that constant you cant guess the figure. As per my assumption, It is a ratio which can be generated by set of numbers.

I don't think so. You can say that the long diagonal will depend on the angle only but $Rhombus_\pi$ will depend on both, And you can see putting $\theta = 90 $degree

like, for Rhombus, $Rhombus_\pi = {4a \over 2 cos(\theta/2)}$ Where, $\theta$ is smaller angle in rhombus. As per my assumption, this is a 2 variable figure.
