Moving on the surface of a cube what do you mean you can only use the 3rd 4th and 5th positions? you can make the first 6 moves in only 2 directions which leaves the 7th 8th and 9th for the third. I have not calculated it myself, however you have to be very careful, it is very easy to count the same one two times. |
