but, due to the incorrect ridge lines i can not get it as it is. as my main idea i to apply different regularity rules, in the end product azimuth, angles should have regular values. so to do this, i think i should fix this rotational errors of planes. as the whole process is automated one, i cant rely many things as i am implementing this in c++. if this is not clear, shall i post a new post

sorry for confusing you. to be honest, i am having some other types of objects like prism having a horizontal ridge with inclind ridges. for these objects, i am trying touse some other mechanism. first i want to adjust the horizontality of that ridge, then inclind rdiges. but by setting the horizontality and then let in to pass the inclined plane through the end of that ridge does not change the azimuth differences. if i get a 2d scene, then the ridges given by inlclined plane will lead to a traingle whose base angle are equal.

any possibility to rotate a plane till its azimuth reach 90 degree difference with the adjacent one while preserving its "d" in the same value?

yes, I got your explanation and thank you very much for that. But, to find the average apex, first i should have the intersected lines. But, first, i want to adjust the planes in a way to get their XY projected normal vector in a more regualr mannar (i.e. 90 degree difference). for that, i can find a starting plane by finding the plane having many points or smallest rmse. if you dont mind, would it be possible to explain a way to update these planes. (accordig to my undestanding for the suggest way, i need to know the lines, but practically i am not computing them till they adjust)

thank you very much for the response and the way. But I am working on 3D point clouds. So, can I follow this way. I have drawn the figure, when we look at a side on the data. sorry for the misguiding you. If the solution for 3d case is differ with what you explained, could you please update this answer please. I was struggling couple of days. thanks again.

Many thanks for the updating (I think, I couldn't tell you what I really need). as far as i understood, +,- signs tell whether the normal vector and ray vector are in the same direction or opposite. But, to recognize these rays, I need to know whether which rays fall within the red part and which rays fall within the green part. So, My main problem was to get this clearly. for eg. if the angle is 35 degree, this does not say that fall in which part (red, green)... any idea to get this please..

@Tpofofn: to simplify the case, i can project all points on to a vertical plane which passes through O and parallel to a plane which contains zenith vector and normal vector.

thank you for the response. but i am sorry, i did not get clearly what you said. what is u1, u2, u3? Actually, i post this question because I feel I can not recognize (say point A and E), the point A is upper and not the down.. and similarly, E is down not in the upper.. the angle between two rays does not say whether these 2 points are upper part and not the down part and so on.. for me, I want to clearly figure out the reality of these rays with respect to the plane.. thanks,... any comments please.

If I am neglecting these errors and if I am considering mainly the viewing ray geometry, then what could you say about my thinking... can I select photographs where they make large angles for a particular object... likewise, can I select different multiple photographs from the given list to get more accurate result. Please comment on this question as I was thinking many days on this.. thank you again.

i could not get you. suppose lines are coincide but the starting and ending points are differ, then what happen? in my case, starting/ending of two line pair are not the same.

@gt6989b: yes, i want to know what are collinear (or approximately align), then, all approximately align line segments should be aligned.. need to do this in a way to applying some theory or some "grammar" or....
