Parabola attributes - custom curve? The reasoning makes a lot of sense. I'm a little fuzzy on the math. I remember the fact that the more derivatives it matches the smoother the curve. But I'm a little confused on how you arrived at that formula, that probably has a lot to do with not having looked at Mathematica code in a year or two. |

It is for an animation but I feel that a piecewise would be pretty jagged, unless I did a lot of them, which I am trying to avoid. @Jonas how would you suggest I describe it better? $y=e^{cx^2} - 1$ works, but it is a very sensitive function. :) But I think it will work just fine. |
