A novice programmer. Occasionally I run into math problems that are a bit out of my league. If I can't find an answer, I turn to this site.

I have a bad habit of constantly having second thoughts about how I phrased a post and going back to edit, but on here that seems to bump the thread, which could potentially become annoying if done too often. I try to limit myself, but if it becomes a little excessive, I apologize, and please feel free to indicate this in a comment.

I have very little formal math education, but can teach myself some of the things I need to know. This leads to having a very niche knowledge of math, meaning I tend to have a fair amount to ask, but can only answer questions revolving around certain subjects.
