Thank you for your help Ilya; I know your answer has the most votes, but I gave the correct mark to Stefan Hansen as I found that answer easier to comprehend. Once that clicked then your answer made sense to me. I think it was the $ 0 <= k <= n $ that threw me off. Thanks again though.
