Sep 8 awarded Popular Question Sep 5 comment Finding an integrating factor (Differential Equations, exact equations) That's another differential equation. However, because I don't yet know how to solve an equation of that form, I suppose it must be a book misprint. Sep 5 awarded Commentator Sep 5 comment Finding an integrating factor (Differential Equations, exact equations) That does indeed make the equations much nicer, but not seemingly any more solvable. :( Sep 5 comment Finding an integrating factor (Differential Equations, exact equations) Done. Thank you. I have Tex The World installed, so I didn't notice that it wasn't showing up correctly. Sep 5 revised Finding an integrating factor (Differential Equations, exact equations) Changed LaTeX markup to one that is supported on this site. Sep 5 comment Finding an integrating factor (Differential Equations, exact equations) I apologize, I thought I was. Is there a reference where I can double check to make sure my syntax conforms with the syntax expected on math.stackexchange? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we take the white dots to be the area of the fractal and the red and blue to be the border then it's an object of fractional dimension (either 0d points or 1d lines filling a 2d plane) and self-symmetric. Apr 7 comment Visually stunning math concepts which are easy to explain This is awesome. Looks very much like a fractal. Is there a name for this fractal?
