Why did my friend lose all his money? I guess his mudclient would send the command "bet 128 gold", the mud would reply "You don't even have that amount!" and the script would not be setup to answer that, ending the script. It was just a basic "trigger" system, reacting on the text it got from the mud. |

Why did my friend lose all his money? I think I get this! So, the probability of losing 13 times is low (1/2^13), but since the other (1-1/2^13) times where he won, he only won 1 gold, and the one time he lost, he lost all his gold, the expected value is low? |
