I'm a PhD candidate in computational materials physics. I'm interested in parallel computing, numerical algorithms, and generic programming.
My primary languages are c++, Mathematica, and LaTeX. I can read, but don't like to use, Fortran.
Despite my general dislike of Fortran, its IO system has a certain appeal, both printf and boost::format are reminiscent of it.
The gravitar was made with Mathematica, and inspired by this.
