@dylan, I know what you mean, if u isn't a function of x, it's a constant, done deal. I am thinking of both vectors being a function of x. Then again, I don't even remember what the identity is!

But are the identities right? It's looks something like the above. Because if the cross product is diffuclt to do, then it may be worth my while to integrate one of the vectors first and then take the cross product.

No, not Stoke's theorem. It's not any theorem. It was just an easy way to integrate vectors. It has nothing to do with curl or anything
