+1: I read this and I went through several stages of grief: Denial ("Surely not! It's just 1/6!"), Anger ("But... But...! That's clearly not what was being asked!"), and finally Acceptance as I realised you are 100% correct.

@utnapistim technically the shortest distance between two points on an orange is still a straight line... through the orange. Incidentally, the 180° triangle thing was first point at which I realised mathematics was beautiful.

@Mitch doesn't a coin suffer from imbalance, too? I know that UK ten pence coins land on heads more often than tails (at least, I always opt for heads and rarely lose - so I have no proof other than personal experience...)
