Position points within an oval-like area After setting up a few more test "dots" and hitting f5 about 100 times, the dots in the lower and upper regions did not move beyond the rounded borders! Thanks a lot! |

Determine which face of die is up in 3D space Yes, joriki.. I'd assume the direction of the camera is more important than the rotation, I just included the rotation for added info. And I didn't realize the tuples were vague (I thought they were commonly used in this way).. the 4s are quaternions, and I've never seen them past 0-1, so I'd assume it's based on unit circle. The 3s are just standard vectors. |

Calculating point on circle after time Someone can probably close this question as a duplicate. |

Calculating point on circle after time JM, my head just exploded. I don't think I'll be able to accomplish elliptical orbits.. Andre, I just realize how dumb I was :( Yes, that does answer my question. I failed to realize I had "distance traveled" by having time and speed.. facepalm |

Calculating point on circle after time I know in real life they are elliptical, however I'm not sure how to implement this. I realize how to construct an ellipse (with 4 points as the "control" points), but as I said I know very little math and this seems more complicated. However, if anyone would like to answer in an elliptical case rather than circular, I would be ecstatic. |
