I'm a mathematician working at University of Bonn. As a standard, I use (AMS-)LaTeX and BibTeX for my documents.

My main research interest is variational calculus, in particular a generalized notion of gradient flow.

I have also been involved in a few programming projects, using Delphi 2007, MySQL and PHP. I mainly work on datastructure and algorithms (the stuff going on 'behind the interface').

In the second paragraph, you describe uniform continuity, not absolute continuity. The counterexample provided by Arthur is indeed not absolutely continuous, but it is uniformly continuous (even Lipschitz)
