I am not a mathematician (but I am planning to become one of them some day!). I have received my diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and for the time being I am attending my PhD at Queen Mary, University of London. I work in the (pretty wide) Machine Learning area, but I am particularly interested in the pure "learning" part, especially under the Statistical Learning paradigm (e.g. Support Vector Machines). I also enjoy programming in C ( using GNU/Emacs ;) ), but sometimes Python is what makes things easier.
