I am new here on this page. I have a mathematical problem, which I can't solve. Since I am new, I am not so good to write with the symbols. I have uploaded the task on this page:

Your link leads to an "unavailable" page. Just edit your question and type the formulas as best you can, and we'll get them massaged into shape afterwards. If the problem is homework, remember to share some thoughts of your own about it! – Henning Makholm Nov 22 '11 at 23:25
Thank for your reply. The task sounds like this: It is assumed that there is a relationship between two variables of x and y of form: y = C0+c1*x. Given the following data required a determanation of the optimum values ("best least squares fit") for coefficients c0 and c1: x | -2 | 0 | 2 | 3 | y | -1 | 0 | 3 | 3 | 1) set up an over-determined system of equation of the form Ac = y to determine vector c = (c0, c1)^t 2) Calculate the normal equations A^t*Ac=A^t*y 3) Find c0 and c1 I really dont know how to solve it. I could use some hint, how to start. – 07xaca Nov 22 '11 at 23:29
