I don't know what is wrong with me, I took advice of a lot of people and changed the way I study for tests and I still failed. I got 20/60, most those points were for showing work.

I don't know what to do anymore, no matter what I do I fail every test. I am thinking school probably isn't for me. I can't do anything.

What else can I do? I feel like I have tried everything. No matter how hard I try I still do worse than the people who don't really care about the class, miss half the classes and still get a C or B.

This test was on derivatives, pretty simple stuff that I thought I understood. I use a tutor and I visit office hours and I do all the homework, go to every class.

Dear Jordan, Are you studying in a context where you have access to an academic advisor? (I know that at many colleges there are academic advisors available that students can talk to.) If you don't have an academic advisor available where you are, there is still very likely to be a head of undergraduate studies or someone similar in the mathematics department at the institution where you are studying. I think at this point you should talk to such a person (academic advisor or equivalent). You shouldn't decide whether or not to drop a class based on advice from an internet forum; ... – Matt E Oct 6 '11 at 4:08

... you need advice from someone who knows the details of your situation (not just your math class but all your classes), as well as the rules of the college where you are studying (e.g. regarding GPAs, regarding good academic standing, regarding course requirements, and so on).
