Mathematics Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for people studying math at any level and professionals in related fields. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I took the math gre scores back in October and did terribly (52%) even though I was scoring in the 70-80% on practice exams.

I am interested in applying to Stanford's ICME and Berkeley's Stats programs. The programs say that it is "highly recommended, though not required" for subject test scores to be submitted.

Given my lower score, would it be worth it to report such a score? It would probably hurt my application no?
