I have a system of non linear equations over a finite field. How to find the number of solutions? For linear equations this can be solved using rank-nullity theorem.

Could you be more specific, e.g. give an example what you already tried? I don't think there is a general formula on the number of solutions on any system of non-linear equations over a finite field. Thank you :) –  BIS HD Oct 22 '13 at 14:22
