Mathematics Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for people studying math at any level and professionals in related fields. It's 100% free, no registration required.

you have two parameters, 1) rates of trees per land size, ranging from 30%-100%, and 2) rates of birds per land size, ranging from 5%-30%

goal is that you're trying to find out which is overall prettier objectionly based on the data, but you can't add them since 1% of trees is not worth the same as 1% birds. you can also scale the rates of birds to be on the same scale as the trees but again that would be unfair to the trees to create more birds per land size over what is reality.

i've constantly had this kind of problems forever~!! this kind of question is all about how to calculate value of any kind, like http://www.mercer.com/articles/quality-of-living-survey-report-2011

what can you do here?? need an analysis, technique, or equation, or anything really advance. im not satisfy with anything i've seen or know of thus far. is anyone here on the leading edge of stat and math stuff and knows how to solve this? really really need answer
