You have to describe your prism more exactly. What do you mean by "base" (I assume it is a length), and do you assume that the base polygon (?) is regular? –  Christian Blatter Mar 21 '11 at 18:53

In general, the lateral area of a right prism is equal to the perimeter of the base multiplied with the height of the prism. In your case $(5\times 10)\times 25$.
