# absolute galois group of Puiseux series with coefficients in $\bar{\mathbb{F}_p}$

Let $K$ be the field of Puiseux series with coefficients in $\bar{\mathbb{F}_p}$ (the algebraic closure of the field with elements). What is the absolute Galois group of $K$ ?

Thank you to anyone who could help!

Maybe you could comment on what you found unsatisfactory about the answers given there? – Cam McLeman Nov 20 '12 at 4:00
These answers were very helpful ! I'm unfortunately not able to fully understand the last answer yet but it still gives me a better understanding... I was interested in seeing if different people would have some other idea to understand this Galois group or some other remarks about it. I hope it doesn't offend the persons who have taken of their time to answer to me on the other site. I really apreciate their answer and it did help me. – beginner Nov 20 '12 at 4:19
The title could be more connected with what the question is actually asking! – Mariano Suárez-Alvarez Nov 20 '12 at 4:45
I think it would be worth linking to the other question, and asking follow-up questions based on the things that you don't understand, rather than posting the exact same question and risk getting answers which don't help you any further that the initial batch of responses. – Cam McLeman Nov 20 '12 at 11:53
