First please understand my knowledge of mathematics is rather basic. Thank you for your help.
Here is the scenario:
Site A - Can accept process types X & Y
Site B - Can accept process type X only
Site A processing time per type:
- X - 10 seconds
- Y - 14 seconds
Site B processing time per type:
- X - 8 seconds
If I know processing times and the number of types X and Y, is it possible to use a formula to distribute the process types to each site with the site overall process times as close as possible?
