There are various "edutainment" video games (e.g. JumpStart, I think it was; see here) that I played in elementary school, but I don't really know whether they had any positive effect. Teaching him/her a programming language such as Python, if you think they can handle it, is probably a good way to go. For a 10 year old, there are also things like Scratch and Lego Mindstorms to give an introduction to programming. |

(A tad tongue in cheek) If you mean advanced mathematics the same way I do, then DejaVu viewer. (It is even a great software for helping 25-year-olds learn advanced mathematics.) |
