The answer is D. The circles go clockwise around the corners with a line that cuts through them. When the circle returns to the top left on the last diagram the line is rotated 90 degrees and so I assume that will happen when the line returns to the top right. Giving you D

@Programmer: Perhaps a clearer way to describe what’s happening with the line is that it is rotated $135^\circ$ clockwise when the circle moves horizontally, and it does not change direction when the circle moves vertically. –  Brian M. Scott Oct 25 '12 at 19:45
