I need a formula that given a GPS location a cannon ball will be shot from there, and I need to find the other GPS location that the cannon ball will fall.

I can get direction, considering a circle around the cannon (1 - 360). I can get the power of the cannon. I can get the angle from the floor (1 - 180).

What I need is a formula that I could plug into code, and simulate different power, angles combinations, and then put it in a map.

Does any one have any idea on how to do that?

In addition to the elevation and muzzle velocity (what you call the "power of the cannon"?) you also need some pretty specific assumptions about the aerodynamic properties of the projectile, wind velocities at different altitudes, and so forth. In the end you probably need to do a numeric simulation if you want to hit a target with any amount of precision. –  Henning Makholm Jun 28 '12 at 19:36
I am trying to make it simple, so I am disconsidering, all the normal world problem, like wind, considering that all those are the same and non changing. –  Oakcool Jun 28 '12 at 21:28
